The international summer school of sports management and Economics, organized jointly by the Volga region Academy and the University, continues its work. Friedrich Schiller (Jena, Germany) with the financial support of the German academic exchange service (DAAD). Following Professor Frank Daumann, Professor Markus Breuer, head of the Master of Sport Management (master of sports management) program at Heidelberg University of applied Sciences, delivered a series of lectures to the students of the school.
Topics of Professor Broyer's speeches: "Introduction to sports management", "world sports market", "Special characteristics of sports management", "management of sports events", "Corruption in international sports organizations" and "Strategic management".
Behind the loud "corruption" headline of one of the lectures of the lecturer is a cold and anatomically detailed analysis of the nature and mechanisms of corruption in sports. However, Professor Breuer, from the height of his rich experience and relying on extensive and in-depth knowledge, adds to the story a lot of vivid examples. Quite tough and fairly illustrates theoretical calculations describing the events associated, in particular, with the German victory in the fight for the right to host the 2006 world Cup.
But most of the lectures by Marcus Breuer are devoted to the" light " side of the sports industry. How to make the project successful, what is the role of sports management in this, and what tools can the current students of the school use in the future to implement the most ambitious projects.

- It's incredibly interesting when he first gives the guys the task to find the definition of a term. They work in groups, then broyer himself joins the discussion. And so for one lecture he can do 3-4 times!
The ability to think and find solutions on their own, learning from constant solutions to various cases is very important. After all, for many of the project participants, the knowledge gained in the summer school can be useful very soon. For example, Ksenia pevneva from Orenburg already has a higher education:
- It was just management, but I decided to change my profession, I am now studying at the Moscow University "synergy". In the direction of sports management, so this school I could not be interested in. And here I really like it all!
Summer school is, though very interesting, but very intensive method of training, which requires maximum concentration and dedication of the students, full immersion in the topic. In such a situation, it is very important that students have the opportunity to have a good rest, switching to other activities and research objects. And the organizers gave them the opportunity. On Saturday, the participants of the project in the evening of German culture visited the Kazan Church and listened to organ music. And on Sunday, their sightseeing tour of Kazan, with a visit to places related to German history and culture, the Kazan Kremlin and the Kul-Sharif mosque, as well as a trip out of the city, in ISKE-Kazan state historical, cultural and natural Museum-reserve... on a real Sabantuy!
And ahead of the students get acquainted with Professor Christoph rush head of the Department "Professional Services" ("Professional services") at the University of Potsdam, who will talk about marketing in sports. And, of course, students of the summer school is waiting for new thrills: visiting the "Kazan Arena" "Tatneft Arena", the evening meetings in the framework of the project "world Cup "fights by the rules TNA Cup TATNEFT".
