Today, Danir Islyamov, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee at Volga University, led a tour of the campus for young footballers from the "Volga" team (Ulyanovsk Region). Accompanied by their parents, the athletes had traveled to Kazan to compete in a futsal tournament.

The introduction to the university began with an overview of opportunities for student self-realization; the guests visited the media center and the esports club—the latter sparking particular interest among the young players. The athletes also visited the concert hall and the Academic Council hall, where they took in the view of the Universiade Village through a panoramic window.

Danir Islyamov guided the guests through the classrooms and showed them the rehabilitation and recovery center. There, the young athletes not only learned about the university’s work in adaptive physical education but also tried out a horse-riding simulator designed for muscle relaxation.

The tour concluded with a visit to the 2013 Universiade Museum, where the group enthusiastically explored exhibits from both the Student Games and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

"We and the children really enjoyed the tour. The university is beautiful and modern," noted Sergey Koshkin, who was accompanying the children.

The young people themselves were also thrilled with the meeting.
