The international summer school of sports management and Economics has started today at the Volga region Academy of sports. The project is organized by the University together with the University. Friedrich Schiller (Jena, Germany), financial support is provided by the German academic exchange service (DAAD). The first speaker was the head of the Department of sports Economics and health Economics Professor Frank Daumann.
Before the lecture (all classes are held in the hall of the academic Council), the Vice-rector for academic affairs of the Academy Almaz Galimov addressed the participants:
- First of all, let me welcome you on behalf of the rector Yusup Yakubov of Dimensiunea, all the big teams from our Academy and myself, he said. - We are starting a big project today, which is undoubtedly the summer school of management…
Executive Director of the project Gulnaz Ageeva, in turn, reminded the students of the school program, which will last until August 26. Every day, in addition to the lecture part, they are waiting for exciting excursions to the largest sports facilities in Kazan, some of which, as is known, are the objects of the Volga Academy. Well, Frank Daumann opened the educational session with a lecture on "the Sports market: determining demand". In the afternoon, the theoretical part continued with a tour of the building of the educational and laboratory complex of the Volga Academy, which was held for students of the school Almaz Galimov.
Recall that the participants of the school were 30 students, undergraduates, graduate students and young scientists up to 35 years from ten regions of Russia (including 11 "academicians"), as well as Azerbaijan, Italy and... Germany. Emil Mingaleev, a resident of Cologne, decided to learn the secrets of sports management from specialists from the country that managed to build one of the most effective sports leagues in the world (which is undoubtedly the German football Bundesliga).:
- I live in Germany at the age of 8, I graduated there with a master's degree, studied in the direction of risk manager and management accounting. In the summer I worked in Kazan on television, in the future I am going to work in the sports field, so when I heard about the school, I applied without hesitation. I am very pleased: everything is well organized, the lectures are interesting, today there were many examples from football, and I love this sport! There was a lot of information about how sports leagues work in Germany and other countries. All this will undoubtedly be useful to me in the future.
