The Volga Region Sports University Aquatics Palace was the venue of the Russian Synchronized Swimming Championship. 279 athletes from 13 regions of the country took part in the competition. Two teams from Belarus were guests of the tournament.

The team of Tatarstan, which included Diana Khabibullina, a second-year student of Povolzhsky University, took third place in the final standings of the regions.

"The Russian Championship went well, everything we planned was fulfilled. Our next start is the Friendship Games, which was held for the first time that year and was a great success. So far I'm in full swing to prepare for the session, I'm studying remotely on an individual schedule and now I've come to personally meet the teachers I've only seen online before," the athlete shared her impressions and plans.
