Volga Region University tenderly bids farewell to its graduates - on the Fourth of July, specialists who studied at the International Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism received their diplomas.
Rector Rafis Burganov traditionally addressed the graduates first, and the chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, Sergei Ivanov, became the guest of honor at the award ceremony.

Among the graduates of the institute are participants in international internships who defended their diplomas in foreign languages, winners and prize-winners of scientific and creative competitions, sports competitions at the republican and federal levels.

"The tourism industry not only in Tatarstan, but also in the whole of Russia is developing at a rapid pace. It is overtaking not only many traditional spheres, but also the IT sector. When choosing a place to work, you need to rely on prospects, and there are many of them in tourism. Tourism is a glimpse into the future, where artificial intelligence and robots will not be able to replace a big human heart and hospitality," Sergey Ivanov said.

The graduates were also congratulated by the university lecturers - supervisors of student groups. They made a video in which they wished young professionals to set the right goals, get out of their comfort zone and make their lives better.

"The awarding of diplomas is the result of a great, joint work of the university management, staff, teachers and invited practitioners. Our students were able to reach the end largely thanks to their efforts and determination," summarised Rezeda Khadiullina, Director of the International Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism.
