The Iranian rowing team held a training camp at the Rowing Centre of the Volga Region University - the athletes spent almost a month in Kazan. This is the second visit of the national team to Russia.
In a short interview in our Zen, Afshin Farzam, coach of the national team, shared his impressions of the city and the sports facility.
Last year we managed to establish friendly relations with Russia, we had only positive impressions! We have repeatedly visited sports complexes in other countries, but Kazan has the best rowing centre. And I would like to encourage foreign athletes to take a closer look at the sports facilities of the Volga Region University as a place for training.
