FILIN: Physical Education, Personality, Science" Olympiad launched

The Regional Research Olympiad "PHILIN: Physical Education, Personality, Science" on natural science bases of physical culture and sport (hereinafter - the Olympiad) is held annually by the federal state educational institution of higher education "Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism" (hereinafter - the University) in order to achieve modern quality of education.

In the course of the Olympiad the following tasks are solved: 

• creation of opportunities for self-realisation of modern school and university students;
• development of values of healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sport;
• conducting career guidance work among schoolchildren in order to popularise the University;
• preparation of potential applicants of the University for the Unified State Examination (hereinafter - USE) and entrance tests in biology;
• Identification of gifted and talented students for further support and development of their abilities in the field of natural sciences.

The Olympiad will be held from March 15, 2024 to April 15, 2024. More details about the events and organisational aspects of the Olympiad can be found in the attached document.
