It is a structural unit of the Institute of Further Education of the University from 29.06.2023. 

Full official name: Centre for the Development of Human Resources Potential of the Tourism Industry of the Institute of Further Education of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism".

Aims and objectives of the Centre

1.1 The Centre's activity contributes to the achievement of the goals, targets and objectives of the Strategy for Tourism Development in the Russian Federation for the period until 2035 and the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry"

1.2 Analysing the market of the modern tourism industry

1.3 Mastering innovative technologies, forms, methods and means of training personnel for the tourism industry

1.4 Development of topical training programmes and formation of competences for representatives of executive authorities and businesses in the regions of the Russian Federation on the development of tourism infrastructure, increasing the availability of tourist services, and improving management in tourism.

2.1 Establishment of the Centre

2.2 Analysing the needs of the tourism industry based on which

  • the programme of additional professional education of professional retraining "Management of development of tourist territories: project approach" with the volume of 480 hours was developed and implemented; 
  • professional standards were developed: "Specialist in the formation of promotion and sale of tourist products" (registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, under approval in accordance with the regulations), "Specialist in guest services in collective accommodation facilities (registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, under development);
  • together with the Kazan Kremlin State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve, developed and implemented a 128-hour professional development programme "Methods of Preparing and Conducting a Walking Tour".
