1. Within the framework of the implementation of the federal project "Improvement of management in tourism" of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry":
1.1 The Centre for the Development of Human Resources Potential of the Tourism Industry was established. Two facilities of the Centre were renovated with a total area of 1500 sq. m., classrooms were equipped with modern multimedia systems, allowing to organise classes both online and offline. A video studio has been equipped using modern technologies and the Jalinga hardware and software system.
1.2 A 480-hour professional retraining programme "Tourism Territory Development Management: Project Approach" has been developed and implemented. Teams representing the entities included in the list of macro-territories in the following representation are involved in mastering the programme:
- Representatives of state and municipal authorities of the entities whose area of responsibility includes the development of specific tourist territories, including the infrastructural development of these territories;
- Heads of domestic tour operators developing tourism products in a specific tourism territory;
- managers of accommodation facilities located in a particular tourist area;
- representatives of investors planning to participate in the development of specific tourist territories.
The number of the team from one tourist territory should be 8 people, with a ratio of 70 per cent business representatives and 30 per cent government representatives.
1.3 24 people from three regions of the Russian Federation (Samara region, Republic of Tatarstan, Republic of Bashkortostan) were trained.
2. Within the framework of the co-operation agreement with the State Budgetary Institution "Kazan Kremlin State Historical-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve":
2.1 A professional development programme "Methods of preparing and conducting a walking tour" with the volume of 128 hours was developed and implemented. 87 students were trained.
