Recall that the gala concert was held on 14 March at the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This year it was held for the fourth time and was timed to coincide with the World Youth Festival-2024.
The gala concert was attended by 900 students of higher education institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and 100 participants of the World Youth Festival from 55 countries of the world.
Traditionally, the higher educational institutions of the republic that showed the best results were awarded a special prize "For Contribution to the Development of Folk Art".
The jury awarded the Kazan State Institute of Culture with the 3rd place diploma and a certificate of 100,000 roubles.
The 2nd place diploma and a certificate of 250,000 roubles were awarded to Kazan Volga Federal University.
Students of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism won the 1st place diploma and a certificate of 350,000 roubles.
The awards were presented by Marat Akhmetov, Chairman of the Commission under the Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan on the preservation and development of the Tatar language and native languages of representatives of peoples living in Tatarstan.
