Azat Kadyrov, First Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation, paid an inspection visit of the Future Games venues in Kazan. He inspected the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, the Kazan Tennis Academy, the Fijital Centre and the Centre of Additional Education at the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
"Less than a month is left until the start of the Future Games multi-sport tournament in Kazan, and the organisers are reaching the finish line. The operational readiness of the venues is on schedule. There is no doubt that everything will be done to hold the event at a high organisational level," said the First Deputy Minister.
Azat Kadyrov assessed the readiness of the hall for the opening and closing ceremonies, and visited the sites for tournaments in fijital disciplines. The First Deputy Minister also toured the Fijital Centre and the Centre for Supplementary Education in the Universiade Village, which will start operating on the eve of the Games of the Future. The Fijital Centre in Kazan will be the third such centre in Russia (after Kemerovo and Sevastopol) and the first to be opened on the basis of a sports university.
