Volga Region University is preparing for the gala concert within the framework of the regional ethno-cultural student contest-festival "Creativity of Peace and Harmony - Iҗat asha tynychlyk hәm berdәmlekkә", timed to coincide with the International Youth Festival 2024.
The gala concert will be held on March 14: at 17:00 it is planned to award the winners and prize-winners of the competition, and at 18:00 the concert programme will begin.
The event will include the awarding of a special prize "for contribution to the development of folk art".
The gala concert will be attended by 900 students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan and 100 participants of the International Youth Festival 2024 from 55 countries.
Volga Region University from 12 to 15 February also hosted competition days within the festival in the following areas: vocal, dance, instrumental and art word.
A total of 220 applications were submitted for "Creativity of Peace and Harmony - Iҗat asha tynychlyk hәm berdәmlekkә".
According to the jury of the competition, which includes cultural figures of the Republic of Tatarstan, the significance of the competition is increasing and the performance of the numbers is becoming more and more professional.
