The Lobachevsky University Venture Fund offers support to budding entrepreneurs.
The goal of the fund is to facilitate the development of startups ready to move from a created product to its scaling.
University companies registered in Russia are eligible for support:
- recipients of support from university startup studios;
- projects created by startup studios;
- startups launched by university students/employees, educational organisations;
- who have completed their university studies not more than 3 years before the day of their participation in the university startup;
- technology readiness level - 5.
Projects from Tatarstan are favoured. Areas of interest include robotics and mechanical engineering, microelectronics and instrumentation, chemistry of natural raw materials and polymer materials, energy saving and new transport, new technologies for the agricultural and food industries, etc.
The Fund was created by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programmes and the Idea Technopark.
