On April 3, 4 and 5, 2019, the center for additional education of the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism together with the Moscow independent scouting Agency "EasternScoutAgency" will hold training courses "Analytics in sports and physical culture"in Kazan on the basis of the University. 48 hours Agency specialists will share the secrets of search and development of sports talents, collection and analysis of data related to the activities of athletes and sports organizations. The training program is aimed at managers and specialists of analytical departments, coaches, scientific and pedagogical workers of sports organizations. The training will be completed with a workshop on preparation of analytical reports and delivery of certificates of the state sample.
"This year the Volga region sports Academy will host the first set of students for the master's program" Sports Analytics", - says the head of the program, head of the Department of physical and mathematical disciplines of the Volga region Academy Marat Galyautdinov. - Having studied the needs of the sports market, we offered our Moscow colleagues to read a trial course in our region. After all, we are the first Russian sports universities to open this area. I think it will be interesting for specialists from different regions. The industry today needs not only analytical approaches, the use of modern software used in scouting, but also specialists who are able to process the obtained statistics for the organization of work on the search and development of sports talents."
