An agreement on a network educational programme between the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sport and the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism was signed in Baku these days. The document was signed by rectors of the educational institutions Fuad Hajiyev and Rafis Burganov. The signing took place within the framework of the working visit to Azerbaijan of the delegation of the Volga Region University headed by Rector Rafis Burganov.
The parties agreed to implement a double-diploma programme in the format of "Coaching" at the bachelor's degree level. The agreement mainly provides for the establishment and development of academic and other relations between the universities aimed at improving the level of education.
Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Azerbaijan Irek Zinnurov also took part in the meeting of the parties.
During the visit to the sports university of Azerbaijan, the delegation from Tatarstan was familiarised with the infrastructure of the Academy. The guests were given detailed information about the activities and capabilities of the scientific and educational laboratory, multimedia centre and anatomy room. The delegation also visited the National Institute of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation equipped with equipment meeting modern standards.
