The Volga Region University and the Kazan Museum Complex signed a co-operation agreement. The document was signed by Rector Rafis Burganov and Director of the Museum Complex Arkady Karbayev.
The parties will organise and conduct joint lectures, excursions, round tables, conferences and other cultural and educational events, as well as create joint exhibition projects.
Among the tasks are also propaganda of historical and cultural heritage, fostering a careful attitude to the history of the Fatherland and promoting military-patriotic education of young people.
After the signing of the agreement there was a short excursion to the museum's travelling exposition - an exhibition of paintings by artist Konstantin Vasiliev, which are placed in the hall of the first floor of the university's teaching and laboratory building. Students and staff were told about the artist's creative path and his biography.
In the future it is planned to regularly update the exhibition.
As noted on her page in the social network "Vkontakte" vice-rector for administration and social development Natalia Grechannikova, it is great when students in between classes can get acquainted with the work of great artists.
