Less than a month remains before the BRICS Games, which will be held in Kazan from 12 to 23 June. More than 5,500 participants from BRICS countries and invited nations are expected to compete.

The International Multisport Forum will be held ahead of the BRICS Summit in October, which will also be hosted by the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. The main goal of the tournament will be to strengthen friendly sports ties with the BRICS countries based on the principles of equality, non-discrimination and equal admission of athletes to competitions.

Today in the capital of Tatarstan preparations for the large-scale event are in full swing, sports facilities are being renovated, where competitions in 29 sports will be held for 12 days. Almost all the facilities of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism will also become a venue for the Games.
