For several days, students of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism have been cleaning the city's territory of rubbish. Today, employees of the university joined the city-wide clean-up day.
About 300 students and employees of Volga Region University cleaned up the forest area on Dubravnaya Street, as well as the territories of all the university facilities: Universiade Village, teaching and laboratory building, Burevestnik swimming pool, Zilant Ice Complex, Tennis Academy, Rowing Centre, Gymnastics Centre, Badminton Centre, Aquatics Palace, Fijital Centre.
By joint efforts, volunteers of the sports university collected 6 lorry loads of rubbish.
