Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Tennis Academy, on the site of which an international tournament in digital football is being held these days.
Competitions are test in anticipation of the "Games of the Future". 8 teams from 6 countries participate in the tournament: Russia, Iran, Uruguay, Argentina, Serbia and Brazil. At the first stage, the teams play a match in a football simulator, and then they determine the strongest on a real mini-football field.
Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the competition grounds of the Figital Games, and also watched the match for 3rd place between the teams of Russia and Uruguay.
The first Games of the Future will be held in Kazan in 2024. They will be held in new disciplines using modern technologies, digital environment and physical activity. The format of the competition involves the use of the latest developments in the field of e-sports, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, information technology and artificial intelligence. More than 2,000 professional athletes are expected to compete in the Games of the Future in 16 disciplines.
