Teachers from four partner universities are taking part in an educational seminar at the Russian Football Union Academy: ten representatives of universities subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Sport, including the Volga Region University of Sport, are taking part.
Among the teachers of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Football and Hockey are Associate Professor Dmitry Korzun (B-UEFA licence), Senior Lecturer Nail Sadykov (B-UEFA licence) and Dmitry Denisenko (C-UEFA licence).
From September 2024, it is planned to launch a module based on the C-UEFA curriculum in higher education institutions. Its content will be introduced into the main professional educational programmes of higher education institutions. Fourth year students will be able to study the C-UEFA programme materials, after which they will have the opportunity to defend their portfolio, pass the final certification and become holders of an international level coaching licence.
"This seminar is a great opportunity for students to study within the framework of academic classes at their own university, without going anywhere, and additionally receive a C-UEFA licence, as well as for the university as a whole to have a great opportunity to train coaches with an international level licence at its base. It is important to note that training will be free of charge for our students", - commented Dmitry Denisenko.
