Today young patients of the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital got acquainted with the Dragon, the symbol of the coming year. Students of the Volga Region University of Sports under the guidance of Natalia Grechannikova, Vice-Rector for Administration and Social Development, brought a real New Year's Eve party to the "Home Away From Home".
Children with pleasure participated in dance contests, played winter games, laughed a lot and had fun!
And then under friendly applause children and parents met the main characters of the holiday - Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. The children told Santa their favourite New Year poems and then sang a song about a small Christmas tree.
The New Year's journey ended with tasty sweet gifts, which delighted our little residents Santa Claus and Snow Maiden!
"We thank our friends - Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and personally Rafis Burganov. Thank you for helping us to help," notes Julia Markova, the head of the House.
"The marvellous people of this house provide an opportunity for children undergoing long-term treatment in the DRCB not to be separated from their parents.
