Tatarstan summed up the results of the Feature and Documentary Film Festival ‘I am in History’, which united activists of Tatarstan's universities to participate in the creation of short films.

Students of Povolzhsky University took away valuable awards of the festival for the second year in a row. This year, the students of the media centre presented their work ‘Limbo’, which won in four nominations out of ten possible. The students of the university also took part in the shooting of the film as actors.

- We started working on the film as soon as we sent the application and got to know the subject. When I looked at the script that Gosha had written, I thought that we wouldn't succeed, because I had never realised a film with such complexity. But in a month we managed to gather actors, prepare props, find locations for shooting and shoot the work, - said the operator and editor of the film work Mark Lozbenev. - Shooting lasted two weeks, and then there were pre-shooting days, when we realised that the shots were missing or poorly shot. Then came the difficult days of editing and bringing the work to perfection. In one of the difficult moments, we came up with a slogan - ‘We love cinema’ - which motivated us to keep going.

The short film won awards for Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and Best Sound Editing.

- Unfortunately, we didn't take away the main Best Film award, but in my opinion, we won the most significant spot awards. Thanks to the detailed elaboration, the film work turned out to be really worthy, - said the author of the idea and script, director and editor Georgiy Kim. - Overall, we are satisfied with the result, as we have done a lot of work, and most importantly, it was appreciated. Will we participate next year? Definitely yes, and I assure you, next year the Best Film nomination will be ours.
