Young people of Kazan unveiled a grand-sized flag in honour of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan in Millennium Square.
Representatives of the Volga Region University also took part in the large-scale event: a giant canvas measuring 50 by 25 meters was unrolled near the walls of the Kazan Kremlin by joint efforts of students, schoolchildren and activists of youth public organizations.
The event was attended by State Duma Deputy Tatyana Larionova. She addressed the audience with the following words:
‘How important it is that our young people take an active life position and are ready to express their attitude, their love for Tatarstan so vividly!’.
The action was organised by the regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia, an all-Russian public organisation.
