Gulnara Galavova, a teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics, and students of Sports and Hotel Management at Volga Region University plunged into the magical world of theater. They attended the performance “Enchanted by Dance” at the Galisgar Kamala Theater in Kazan.

The visit became not just a cultural event, but a part of a great tradition. Every year students of the Volga Region University discover new facets of art, learn to feel the beauty and depth of stage craftsmanship. The production “Enchanted by Dance” became a perfect occasion to talk about passion, art and the power of emotions that move people and their actions.

- Theater is always a dialogue between the audience and the actor. Such meetings help future professionals to develop not only aesthetic taste, but also emotional intelligence, which will become competitive advantages for young professionals. Also theater teaches to see the beautiful in details, - said Gulnara Galavova.

Student Nicole Kolosova said that this was the first Tatar-language production she had attended. She has been studying Tatar language from scratch at Volga University, and the performance left her with vivid impressions.

- For convenience, we were given headphones with simultaneous translation. Already during the screening, I began to understand the thoughts and feelings of the characters, as well as recognize some familiar words that we had learned in practice. After watching it, I became very interested in the culture of the Tatar people,” said Nicole Kolosova.

And student Polina Ateeva emphasized that such events not only develop aesthetic taste, but also promote team building among students. According to her, the guys actively discussed the play, asked questions and analyzed the message of the story.

She believes that cultural events are very important for the formation of a versatile personality - they help the young generation to immerse themselves in different aspects of culture and find inspiration for academic and extracurricular activities.

- The visit to the theater was very emotional and intense, the musicians and dancers created an atmosphere that immersed us in the world of Tatar culture with elements of modern art. I really liked how professionally the numbers were performed - they inspired the students and gave them the opportunity to see how to express thoughts and feelings through creativity. And as a result, the motto of the performance: “No one will leave disappointed!” - was fully justified,” shared student Polina Ateeva.
