Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism invites you to take part in the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Heroes of War - Heroes of Sports”, which will be held at the university on April 29.
The scientific event is timed to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Its purpose is to create a platform for information exchange, discussion of scientific and scientific-practical issues.
Within the framework of the conference the participants will touch upon the historical memory of the Great Patriotic War, recall the fates of athletes, discuss the legal aspects of countering Nazism and fascism, as well as consider the role of physical culture and sports in the patriotic education of young people.
The conference is open to representatives of university faculty, teachers of secondary educational institutions, students, as well as researchers and scientists.
Following the results of the conference it is planned to publish a collection of articles with placement on the website of the Volga Region University and in the Russian Science Citation Index.
For participation it is necessary to send the materials till April 12 to the e-mail with the indication of the subject of the letter: “Conference of heroes-athletes”.
