The Republican tournament of the Youth Fidgetal Football League was held from 6 to 17 April in Kazan. 8 teams from universities and colleges of Tatarstan participated in the competition.
The team of the Volga Region University of Sports took part in the final stage of the mini-football games and won silver at the end of the entire tournament.
Captain Emil Gallyamov shared his impressions and commented on the results of Figital Football:
“It was very interesting to take part in a completely new competition format, where the ability to play both real and virtual football is very important. Now there is a digitalization of the sports sphere, therefore, I think, phygital will be in high demand in the future. In my opinion, the one who is well prepared for such conditions deserves the first place, our team was not 100% ready. Also, the level of skill of the opponents deserves respect, we still have work to do.”
