The university hockey team opened the 2022-23 season of the Student Hockey League. The team's first games were played away in Smolensk. And it should be noted that they were very successful.
"Sports Academy" met the team of Smolensk State University of Sport. The first game ended 1:3 in favour of our boys. Askar Kurashov (#23) opened the scoring, Ranil Mukhametzyanov (#55) scored the second goal and Rishat Akhmetzyanov (#17) got the third.
The second day was even more interesting as our team scored seven goals against SGUS. Rail Sharipov (#77) notched a hat-trick, Rishat Akhmetzyanov (#17) notched a double and one goal each from Askar Kurashov (#23) and team captain Danil Pyanov (#88).
"We take home four points and start preparing for our next outing. This coming weekend we will play a principled opponent from Tambov," our athletes say.
