The University of Sports is a treasure trove of talented students who manage to fulfill themselves in all areas of life, from studies to sports. Lyasan Nurislamova, a master's student and volleyball player, is a bright representative of such young people.

- You've been a member of the university volleyball team for a long time, tell me, what motivates you to come out on the court every season?

- I've been playing since I got here, and all that time the main motivator for me to play is the feeling of being on the court. It's when you realize that the game is made up of the participation of every member of the team, and if you make a gaffe, the whole team suffers. If one player stops playing, the team loses form. This is the most significant motivator in my game, so I keep my form up all the time. It also helps me to play and get on the court with the will to win and overcome adversity.

- Have you ever thought about quitting volleyball and doing something else?

- I have never thought about quitting volleyball. You can do "something else" without giving up volleyball.

- I know that you're into modelling, tell me more about it.

- I've never worked as a model, but this year I was a Miss Tatarstan contestant and I made it to the round. And in 2021 it so happened that I ended up on the pages of the European fashion magazine "Malvie".

- Where did the idea to try and take part in the contest come from?

- It was my friends who encouraged me to do this. When I saw the poster for the contest I thought it would be nice to take part, and my friends reacted very positively and supported me in my decision to take part in this contest.

- What was the atmosphere at the Miss Tatarstan pageant?

- Before that I didn't have a chance to participate in such events. There were a lot of impressions. It was a nice, friendly atmosphere.

- What can you say about the competition?

- The competition was usual, there were no stars or top models.

- How did you manage to combine participation in the competition, volleyball and studies?

- One does not interfere with the other. In general, a person has a lot of free time, and how he uses this time depends only on the inner state and desires of this person. Someone sleeps, someone has fun. But I do what I like to do.

- Do you plan to develop further in the modeling business?

- The question is complicated, I have a lot of thoughts about it, but at the moment the main objective is still my education.

- What are your plans for the future?

- I would not like to talk about my plans for the future, possible perspectives. As the saying goes, man supposes and God disposes. But I am used to achieving my goals.
