The winners and prize-winners of the Russian Diving Championship were honored at the Palace of Water Sports.
The solemn part was attended by Igor Golovin, Head of the Department of Information and Analytical Support and International Activities of the Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan, Albert Bagautdinov, Director of the Palace of Water Sports, Efim Klimov, President of the Diving Federation of Tatarstan, and Lev Kameshkov, Director of the RSSHOR for Aquatics Aquatics.

On my own behalf, I want to thank you for showing such good results, bringing home gold, silver and bronze awards. I hope that this is just the beginning of your professional path, may everything always be 10 points for you! Congratulations!", - Albert Bagautdinov, director of the Palace of Water Sports greeted the athletes.
From Tatarstan, 12 athletes and 2 coaches (S.S. Kolesnikova and V.A. Kolesnikov) took part in the Russian Diving Championship. The participants of the competition took part in all disciplines. Athletes at the championship won 8 medals and took 5 team place: one gold – Vitaly Chepanov, two silver – Karim Shaigardanov and Amira Kuzhakhmedova, five bronze medals – Vitaly Chepanov (two medals), Kira Khairullina, Samat Farzutdinov and Talgat Shaimullin.
It is important to note that such a result was achieved for the first time in modern history.
