In early 2019, the WADA Executive Committee recognized RUSADA's compliance with the current anti-doping code, four years after it made a decision on its non-compliance. The educational seminar on anti-doping support in the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of sports of Russia and the Russian anti-doping Agency RUSADA, held in the Volga sports Academy, was one of the first steps of the Agency to approach the sports community of the regions.
Representatives of regional sports federations, heads and specialists of sports training institutions, coaches and athletes of national teams of Tatarstan had the opportunity to learn about the organization of work aimed at countering doping in sports, as they say, firsthand. The speakers of the event were Veronika Loginova, head of the Department of anti-doping support and interdepartmental cooperation of the Department of science and education of the Ministry of sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, Margarita Pakhnotskaya, Deputy Director General of the Russian anti-doping Agency RUSADA, and Valeria Konova, specialist of the Department of educational programs implementation.
According to Margaret Pagnacco, one of the most important conditions of efficiency of all structures interested in the purity of the sport, information from the source. And not from third parties or the media. "When everything is clear and understandable, chances to do wrong "maneuver" - consciously or not - much less believes Pagnocca. "First of all, all interested structures and representatives of the sports industry need to get a clear idea of what RUSADA is, how this organization works, what technical and educational opportunities it provides."
In his report Pagnocca gave examples of interaction between athletes and coaches with RUSADA, told about the myths arising from ignorance or misunderstanding of these possibilities. For example, after the return of the compliance status RUSADA makes permits for TI (therapeutic use of prohibited substance, approx. auth.). This applies to the so-called "winter", not natural asthma, which affects many skiers, skaters and hockey players. Athletes are real people. All – Norwegians, French, Swedes, Finns, Russian it is. And everyone has the right to send a request to T. And the media speculate on this.
– Everyone remembers the story of the Norwegian team, which was carrying 6 thousand doses of salbutamol to the Olympics in Korea. Personally, I just want to ask, how lucky is the Russian team? While we are seeing a huge number of errors and misconceptions.
Therefore RUSADA conducts educational activities. Conducts seminars, processes the results, conducts investigations, interacts with federations, government agencies, international organizations, informs about violations on the ground, develops technical means for checking drugs for the presence in the lists of prohibited.

- You said that RUSADA has an excellent international reputation today, although until recently the entire system of sports in Russia, including your Agency, was under sanctions…
- The attitude to the system is slightly different now. There were problems caused not by the fact that the Russian sport was doping, it is in all countries. There were problems with the fact that some schemes were revealed... After that, a huge amount of work was done. This applies not only to rusad and the sports Ministry, but also to systematic work involving all the elements, which is why this is the result. I am one of the heads of the Agency, representing him on the world stage. The dynamics of change in attitude to the whole system is slightly slower, but there is a positive trend.  There are still problems of interpersonal, sometimes artificially created media for the sake of rating.
