The center of additional education of the Volga region Academy of sports together with the specialists of the scouting Agency "Eastern Scout Agency" conducted on the basis of the University training courses "Analytics in sports and physical culture", participants of which were physical education teachers, coaches and employees of sports clubs of Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novouralsk, Vologda.  
It is not surprising that the most interested listeners of the reports were the future teachers of the master's program "Sports Analytics", which since the new academic year the Volga region Academy opens the first of the state sports universities of Russia.  Among the lecturers, who shared their secrets in the field of scouting, sports game theory, search and development of talents in sports, a well-known former football player, defender of the national team of Moldova, player of RPL clubs Valery Katynsus, head of analytical Department Alexei Seliverstov and Director of "Eastern Scout Agency" Sergey Nechuvilin. The latter is not only tightly engaged in scouting, is the Dean of the faculty of sports of the Moscow international Academy, but also directs the Academy "Rugby center".
- A separate master's program is wonderful. It is especially pleasant that the initiator of it was the University, which has a modern material and technical base. Even externally, the Academy looks modern and this, in my opinion, is extremely important. Learning modern technology in the ruins is not very effective. Equipped with the latest equipment, laboratories and classrooms are the dream of many universities. Praise and honor that the state University raises the topic of sports Analytics! We will gladly help the Academy to become a leader in this direction. I hope that the guys from Kazan will come to us for an internship.
We are interested in the emergence of such educational programs. First, it is difficult for us, as a private structure, to form the information field. Secondly, although at our faculty sports Analytics was introduced as a course two years ago, but this is a course designed for two semesters. It is based on mathematical game theory and takes into account human behavioral experience in highly competitive games. We do not train analysts, but coaches. We believe that the coach should have knowledge in the field of Analytics, search and development of talents. Today, any coach in Europe is able to independently conduct an initial analysis of such a level, which is not yet available to the majority of domestic specialists. Just because no one told them about it. But it is narrow specialists in sports Analytics will be in demand. The last two conferences on sports Analytics in Boston showed that in big clubs, such as "MU", "Chelsea", "real", today are formed not just scout departments, and analytical headquarters with a staff of 30-70 people. But a separate service is an expensive tool. So the smaller clubs transfer these functions to outsourcing. In Russia, in some clubs there are specialists authorized to conduct such activities, but this is not enough to process a huge amount of information. Therefore, the course chosen by the Academy to train specialists in the field of sports Analytics is very promising.
