The seminar of the Russian football Union in the framework of the project "Doctors and coaches: in the future together" is held in the Volga region sports Academy with the participation of leading experts in the field of sports medicine. Among the speakers are the chief doctor of the men's national football team of Russia, the Chairman of the medical Committee of the Russian football Union, the teacher of the Department of sports medicine and rehabilitation of the First MGMU named after I. M. Sechenov Eduard Bezuglov, the chief doctor of FC Lokomotiv Sergey Haikin and the head of the medical and biological service of the RFU Konstantin Modenov. Representatives of the Volga region Academy of sports – the Director of the University educational and scientific center of technologies of preparation of a sports reserve, Professor Radik Yakupov, and also his employees-the sports doctor Rustam Asmanov and the senior researcher radiva Vasilyev will share experience of own researches with listeners.
Such seminars RFU conducts in all interregional associations. They are aimed at improving the skills of doctors, coaches and rehabilitation specialists working in football and other sports, including employees of sports schools, sports dispensaries, hospitals, medical and sports universities. Topical issues, bright presentation, examples of foreign experience caused a response in the hall and a lot of questions.
- We increase the level of communication between coaches and doctors – says Eduard Bezuglov. - Related topics, hence the interest. Coaches have few relevant sources of information. It is no secret that we are not just behind the world of sports medicine, we are on different planets. Soviet sports medicine was a trendsetter, but to repeat this story you have to make a lot of effort, while they are hundreds of times less than you need. Although there are sprouts that allow you to think that in the coming years will begin to move towards global trends. There are places where sports doctors are taught, introduced to modern trends, where they create opportunities for development. However, if a person wants, he will find an opportunity in any case. It is another matter if he does not have 10 minutes a day to get acquainted with the current information "PubMed" (English text database of medical and biological publications, created by the National center for biotechnological information on the basis of the section "biotechnology" of the National medical library of the United States). We need associates who would move sports science.
- Functional training (master's program in this direction will be opened for the first time in the Volga region Academy of sports since the new school year) requires total monitoring and a clear understanding of the processes occurring in the body. Adjusting these processes requires symbiosis: a doctor-coach-athlete and always a specialist in functional training. It is obvious that sports and medical universities should create interdisciplinary laboratories and look for new ways of cooperation. This collaboration follows from the realities of life, do not wait for the order from above. It is possible to wait for years... I for the first time in Kazan, but heard a lot about Academy. This city is the pearl of Russia's sports, and the Volga region Academy is one of the most precious stones in the crown, a forge of personnel for high-performance sports.
