Students and teachers of the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism, keen on tourism and United in the turklub "Academy" changed the format of lectures on the talk show and started this year with a meeting with the traveler Alexander Ermakov. The guest, giving an interview "live" to the student of the Academy Arina Rodionova, said that over the past 4 years he visited 44 regions of Russia - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, visited 42 countries and crossed the equator three times! During these trips, according to the traveler, he stomped hundreds of sneakers and climbed dozens of peaks.
Alexander shared his experience of organizing an independent budget travel, told where to find cheap tickets, what ways you can get to the planned points and how to look for accommodation. According to Ermakov, this life is addictive. Previously, he was a "couch potato", and now in the native land - a rare visitor. The theme of students fascinated, because not everyone can afford to travel around the world on cruise ships or tours with overnight stays in the best hotels.
As a "visual aid" one of the ways to save money on the hotel, the traveler brought with him to meet his guest, the Swiss Alyosha. The guys met through couchsurfing (a guest network in the form of an online service, whose members provide each other with assistance and accommodation during travel). Alyosha is the same traveler as Alexander, stayed with him during his stay in Kazan. Mom, fascinated by Dostoevsky's novels, awarded the Swiss "exotic" for his country's name, so he decided to visit Russia. The meeting ended with the distribution of prizes to the most active participants, and the winner of the draw got a tour to Elbrus!
"Last year, summing up the results of the work, we noticed that the format of the seminars is boring for the audience, regardless of the level of the speaker, - commented the change of the "genre" representative of the University turklub Robert Ibrahimov. – We decided to "revive" the discussion, to make the show interactive, so that the audience was involved in the process. The result is positive, so you can continue to search for interesting people to meet with our students through Instagram and implement our plans. In August, for the first time we plan to go with a group of students of the Academy to the mountains. Want to work with other turkluba of Tatarstan to hold a festival to unite the efforts for the revival and development of student tourism not only in the Academy but also in the country as a whole. Today, an average of 50 students come to our events, we will work to increase this figure at least twice by the end of the year."
