During the lecture, students of the Academy learned that measles is one of the most infectious diseases in the world and an extremely severe infection of viral origin. It is transmitted through direct contact through the air, infecting the mucous membrane and spreading through the body. The probability of catching it on contact is almost 100%. The only effective method of preventing measles is vaccination.
