The school № 76 for children with disabilities was visited by students of the Volga region Academy, having spent with pupils from the extended day group four classes: physical therapy, dance, fairy tale therapy and art therapy.
Visit "academics" in school – one of the first steps of the project to the Studio of early development "Growing together", developed by the student 3-go course Victoria Plastinina together with the supervisor, the assistant Professor of adaptive physical culture and life safety, Larissa Kasnakovo and curator of the Academy team, Enactus, assistant Professor of Smist Ageeva Gulnaz. The project involves the organization of activities for disabled children in children's clubs. According to Victoria's plan, classes will be held during off-peak hours of loading, which will significantly reduce the cost of rent. For this project, Victoria, we recall, was awarded the prize of the mayor of Kazan in 2018. This year the student intends to present the Studio at the regional stage of the international student program Enactus.
A wonderful, kind idea Plastinina immediately difficult to implement. In families with children with disabilities are extremely cautious about the proposals for the organization of their leisure. Therefore, Vika and her colleagues decided to first go to visit the children. And they offer to be able to assess both teachers and parents. Children with enthusiasm and joy participated in the games and classes offered by students. It's like they're ready to go to the Studio "Growing up together" every day. Play form involves a creative process in which the child's main role.
Employee of the school Karina Rakhmanova shared her impressions:
- We really need such projects. Because our children can develop only through creativity. The project involves an individual approach, the teacher alone can not implement it. I am sure that this experience is very important for students. If they want to work in this area in the future, they should already understand what they will have to face. They need to get to know these children, fully immerse themselves in the process…
The author of the project Victoria Plastinina sure that the decision to start the project in a specialized school-the best:
- The school is well equipped to deal with children with special needs. There is a gym with equipment, modern classrooms. Children are wonderful. I want to communicate. We are ready to participate in competitions and master classes, take the initiative. We with them have made postcards for mothers on 8 March. Both were happy. Be sure to come here again and again!
