Student of the Volga region Academy Vladislav Artemyev in the Russian national team won the team world chess championship, held in Astana. Russian chess players won the competition with the participation of ten teams ahead of schedule for the round before the end. Part of our team become world Champions along with Artemyev Alexander Grischuk, Dmitry Andreikin, Sergey Karjakin and Ian Nepomniachtchi.  
The Russians won six victories and drew twice-against England and Azerbaijan. In the penultimate, eighth round, the Russians beat the team of Sweden (3,5 : 0,5) and with 14 points became inaccessible to the pursuers - the British and Indians, who have 11 points. 
For the Russian men's team this victory is the first in six years. In the final match, which was held today, the Russians beat the team of India (2.5 :1.5).
Vladislav Artemiev of the eight played in the tournament parties, five were won, three tied.
President of the Russian chess Federation Andrei Filatov highlighted the contribution of "academician" to the success of the team.
