Employment of graduates with disabilities was the topic of conversation with special students studying at the Volga region Academy. The meeting was held on the initiative of the Department of quality management of education in the framework of the state program "Accessible environment" and gathered 13 interested.
The opportunities of the educational building, the attention of curators and classmates make training at the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism quite comfortable for people with disabilities. But beyond the threshold of the University graduates waiting for real life, the conditions of which must be prepared in advance. Most of the participants have hearing impairment. Teacher-psychologist of the 27th house Chulpan Galieva, who recently received special training, provided the audience with sign language interpretation and told future graduates how to behave at the interview, where to look for jobs and how not to become a victim of fraud. My personal experience told entrepreneur Milyausha Zaripov. As a wheelchair user, she shared with students an inspiring story of overcoming the difficulties she had to face, told about her business and gave some advice: "I Know that such meetings are a very important motivation for such students. This heart-to-heart conversation is important and necessary for them to live without barriers. It is good that the organizers feel personal responsibility and show interest in creating such a space for communication. I am always open to help and, if necessary, ready to come again."
After discussing the pressing issues, the students dispersed, creating a common chat, where they will now exchange news and emerging problems. The main thing is not to be alone! And the organizers thought about creating a club for students with hearing impairment.
