Student of the Volga region Academy, snowboarder Vladislav Hadarin won the silver medal of the Universiade 2019 in the discipline slopestyle (a series of acrobatic jumps on various jumps, pyramids, etc., located consistently throughout the track).
The winner of the competition was Russian Anton Mamaev with a score of 95 points. Hadarin has 92 points. Bronze went to Finn Axel Telen (89.25 points).
Note that Vladislav Hadarin flew to Krasnoyarsk from Moscow, where on March 2 on Vorobyovy Gory passed the stage of the world tour of the snowboard Grand Prix de Russie — competition in the most spectacular and dangerous discipline "big air". Athletes jump from a large springboard, performing various tricks in flight. "Academician" took the second place at the end of the competition.
