At the Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk, master's student of the Volga region Academy skier Yana Kirpichenko won her second bronze medal this morning. In the 5-kilometer pursuit race, she finished with the third result with a 9-second lag from the Russian Alice zhambalov. The second place was taken by compatriot Zhambalova and Kirpichenko Ekaterina Smirnova.
Recall that on the eve of the results of the 5-kilometer race classic style three Russian skiers are located on a pedestal in the same order. At the same time Kirichenko, leading another 800 meters to the finish line, eventually lagged behind Smirnova only 0.1 seconds.
