"How do you get there?"Over the past six months, Naila saifutdinova - Director of the Kazan Department of the gymnastics center Yulia Barsukova - hears this question so often that it no longer causes her surprise. It would seem that it could be easier: bring the child to view, choose a sport-rhythmic gymnastics, sports, acrobatics, trampoline-and start practicing.
– We have already been on view-said Saifutdinova one friend last year in response to these arguments.  You're not getting in.

Opening the waiting list, only translated from paper to electronic, Naila surprised to find that they have accumulated more than a hundred names. "Our popularity grew every year," says Naila. - But only recently we noticed that many really can't get to us".
Now in reserve schools 212 people. According to the data provided by the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism, the total number of students – 1533. It's not the students, not lovers, and that is working. The school has reached such a size that it becomes cramped in a huge gymnastics center – an object built in Kazan for the Universiade. Recently, the school management is thinking about opening a new Department at another facility – early development sections for children from three to seven years. There they will be given a total physical activity before being divided into sections.
Judging by the excitement and equipment, Tatarstan will soon be able to count on its top athletes in rhythmic and gymnastics, as we wrote earlier. Usually the main role in this is played by municipal institutions, where the best athletes are engaged free of charge, in gymnastics, this process is a little deformed – their ambitions proved the commercial sector, represented by the school of Julia Barsukova. Already now the institution has athletes in the national teams and medals at the championship of Russia.
How did the school come to this?
HISTORY
The center of gymnastics of Yulia Barsukova as the organization is founded in 2010. Barsukova herself-who won the Olympic gold earlier than Alina Kabaeva, but remained in her shadow – is not 100% involved in the center, because she works in Novogorsk with the collections, but tries to participate in all key decisions. The project was founded on the initiative of Olimpico, a sports operator.
Kazan branch was the third for the center after Moscow and St. Petersburg. "Olimpico" appealed to the Federation of rhythmic gymnastics of Tatarstan, the Federation – to Saifutdinova, then the curator of art at the Kazan Universiade-2013. The first set was held in September, almost a month after the end of the student Games. About 500 people came. New room, great equipment, excellent time – everyone was in awe. Until I found that classes will be paid – 3 - 3,5 thousand roubles a month.


To such a cost came by calculating the cost of rent, communal, form, insurance and more. Compared to football and hockey, it's not much, compared to the less status and popular types – a lot. The situation was complicated by the fact that gymnastics since Soviet times was considered a completely free sport. In the art commercial sector is developed a little better than in sports, but even there parents are sure that serious costs begin only at a high level, and at the initial stage all for free.
From 500 people agreed to be engaged – and to pay for occupations-only 200. "How many people did not come then, during the year, everyone expected that the training will be free," says saifutdinova. The most dissatisfied parents had to explain that in Kazan there are two children's and youth schools financed from the budget. If you want to study for free-you have such an opportunity.
But over time, Kazan citizens got used to the financial model of the school. The number of trainees, despite skepticism at first, increased every year to the current 1533 – a very good indicator for this sector. The school would not be able to achieve it if parents had the feeling that the money is going somewhere wrong.
But opponents, the most persistent, remained to this day, as saifutdinova says: "for Some reason, many people think that we rip off money and do nothing. Of course, this is not so. I will not say that we are better than others. We have a very decent competition in the city, and gymnastics is really developing. We hope that we have contributed to this. If earlier people had no idea what the school of Julia Barsukova Is, now they know where they are going."
The money issue, says Naila, is not primary. In April, the school organizes regular children's festival of gymnastics for three types of activities to give pupils the competition area. Last year there were 1600 participants, this year it is expected 1800. The total cost is about 5 million rubles, so the organizers turn to sponsors and parents. The collected money is barely enough to rent three rooms, their design, purchase of prizes and other things. About any earnings of the speech doesn't go.
In addition, the leadership of the center of gymnastics Barsukova every year insists that the Kazan Department increases the cost of training. Saifutdinova still manages to convince the authorities that this is not necessary. The price has not changed much compared to what it was in the beginning.
WHAT ARE THE PROS
One parent who works as a coach (not in gymnastics) and leads his child to classes at the Barsukova center, anonymously described to our newspaper the pros: "first, training is mainly held in the evening. Secondly, it is based in the gymnastics center, where there are all necessary conditions. There seek to all parents. Third, good specialists. Before driving somewhere, I always look at the information about the coaches. At school Barsukova they are all masters of sports, that is, were in the leading positions before becoming coaches".
Largely these advantages the school has a duty of Povolzhskaya Academy, under whose office is the center of the gym. The University gave the nod to the fact that classes were held in the evening, the most convenient. In addition, many coaches in the school or students of the Academy or its graduates.
"The Volga region Academy treats us kindly, politely," says saifutdinova. – We understand that the object is primarily intended for the preparation of national teams, so we are very grateful for the help. We also feel the support of the Federation. We're here as a service contract. There is a price list, there is a specific amount. We pay as much as we do. If we take additional rooms, we pay more. If halls are taken from us for some reason-less".
The main advantage of the school, says saifutdinova, is a close-knit team. Everyone contributes to the overall success. From the coaches. requires to remember that they are dealing with children. In gymnastics, this is very easy to forget because of the high level of competition. To show good results in competitions (students have at least two per year), you need to have a serious base at the age of six or seven years. Because of this, children are loaded even in preschool age. Therefore, many athletes, despite the high employment, excellent students.
"Our children know the value of time," says the headmaster. – They will not sit aimlessly at the phone or computer, because they have all painted. They are twice as focused and twice as disciplined, because in our species awareness and self-discipline are needed at a very early age. At the same time, I do not believe that they are deprived of something and take away their childhood. That's not so. We're just developing their character."
MEDALS
Usually in commercial schools support mass sports. Doing well. Pay well. You win medals-not bad, but if you do not win, we do not care. After all those children who apply for prize-winning places, are engaged in the budgetary organizations.
In the Kazan branch of Barsukova try to avoid this philosophy. "At the championship of the Volga Federal district our students took" gold"," silver "and" bronze " in the national team of Tatarstan, – says saifutdinova. - In two-three weeks our pupil Ksenia Fomina won a bronze medal at superiority of Russia".
It turns out that the first results the School received in the sixth year of work. Only now in peak form out children that are from three to four years, the start engaged Barsukova.
"Not a municipal institution, but a private organization has achieved such success in Russia. It's a miracle – sure, Naila. – If originally talking about us: "a circle opened up and rip off all the money", so to say. This applies not only to rhythmic gymnastics, but also sports, acrobatics."
To the question of why school other sports besides art films, the. answers simple – all children have different physics. At first, they do not have any specialization in the course "Developmental gymnastics". Then tested, after which the trainers give recommendations on what is better to go.
Many, of course, tend to artistic and sports gymnastics, but do not take into account that it is very demanding from a physiological point of view species. If you are tall and thin, you are unlikely to become a champion in gymnastics. If low and stocky, then not the fact that you will succeed in art.
WHAT'S NEXT
At school, not all children are engaged on a commercial basis. The most promising and productive are transferred to free places – which are provided not at the expense of the state, but at the expense of the school itself.
"If we see that the child is very cool, but there are difficulties in the family, then we go forward," says saifutdinova. Someone transfer to the budget only motivates, and someone, oddly enough, relaxes. Recently the school had to break up with a girl who by all measure had become a star, but her mom and dad were fundamentally two times a year to go on vacation, unfortunately, says Naila.
