Today in the concert hall "Academy" of the Volga region Academy of sports held an extended final meeting of the Board of the Ministry of sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, dedicated to the results of the Department in 2018 and the tasks for 2019. Chairman of the state Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the volleyball Federation of the Republic Farid Mukhametshin became the guest of honor.
In the final part of the Board, the ceremony of awarding state awards to employees of the sports industry of the Republic was held. Among them are three representatives of the Volga Academy. The title "Honored worker of the higher school of the Republic of Tatarstan" was awarded to the head of the Department of theory and methodology of volleyball and basketball, doctor of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor Igor Konovalov. The medal "for valiant work" was awarded to the Vice-rector for economic activity Rinat Khusnutdinov. Thanks to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan encouraged Vice-rector for Economics Ramil Khairullin.
