Students of the faculty of service and tourism of the Volga region Academy annually become participants of the Republican contest "Journey to the origins", which is traditionally held by the state Committee of Tatarstan on tourism at the end of the year. This is a competition aimed at the youth audience, ready to develop domestic and inbound tourism in the country. This is a kind of review of innovative tourist projects related to the cultural heritage and development of priority tourist centers.
This year the competition was attended by more than 30 projects prepared by students of the profile faculty of the Academy. Victory among routes, historical heritage won a guided tour of street art objects of Kazan students Adele Abdrakhmanova, Endzhe and the less than. Two team works of "academicians" were awarded to the jury of the second place competition. This is a student budget tour "Kazan-the city of opportunities". The idea and implementation of the tour belongs to a group of artists, among them Adel Saitova, Anastasiya Kalina, Daria Karpeeva, Evgeny Osipov and Kasym Safin. Another student team consisting Zarina Barhaeva and Varvara Kurochkina has developed a "okolokinoshnyh" project of the event tourism FilmFanFest, which was also assessed by the professional jury.
Gastronomic theme on the example of Sviyazhsk worked Alina Mishkina and Ayza Garayeva, becoming the third in the corresponding category.
Note that the preparation of projects to participate in the competition, students were led by candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor Alfia Mustafina-responsible for research work at the Department of service and tourism.
According to the head of the Department of service and tourism Lyudmila Petrik, who is present at the awards ceremony and the winners of the competition, she is pleased with the results. "I was pleased that the student's ideas were highly appreciated and adequately awarded, - Lyudmila Sergeevna comments. – Besides, all authors, anyway, got to the state Committee"on a note". It is no secret that the participants of such competitions are often considered as potential employees, and their ideas often go to work, either on co-financing terms, or as a basis for new, larger-scale projects. In any case, the opportunities for students to participate in such competitions as "Journey to the origins" expands".
