The floorball tournament was held by students and teachers of the Department of adaptive physical culture and life safety of the Volga region Academy of sports for pupils of Kazan school № 76 for children with disabilities within the project "sports Express", the implementation of which became possible with the support of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs.
 "This meeting is a kind of experiment. Last time we held a festival of sports outdoor games for the pupils of the school, - says the senior lecturer of the Department Evgeny Gerasimov. - Children liked sports activity, and we decided to develop floorball on the basis of this school. This sport is not chosen by chance. It is most suitable for special children and looks similar to hockey on the floor, but the equipment - a plastic stick and a ball - is used more easy and convenient".
Sports games are the most effective tool for socialization and reaction development in children with disabilities. Therefore, today, solving the problem of maintaining children's physical shape, in the sports and recreational activities are actively introducing new types of sports. Hall hockey is a team sport originally from Sweden. The principle-to score the ball with a stick in the opponent's goal saved. Play floorball indoors on a solid, level floor. This game promotes socialization and cohesion of children, helps them to improve their physical shape, hardens psychologically to overcome difficulties, which the share of special children falls a lot.
