The third career victory in the championship of Russia in the American pool (a kind of Billiards) issued in November in Moscow 3rd year student of the Volga Academy Dina Fatykhova. In our University Dina studies at the faculty of physical culture and is preparing to become a sports Manager.
Besides 3 titles of the champion of Russia, in a track record of the 20-year-old sportswoman of a rank of the absolute champion of the Republic of Tatarstan, the silver prize-winner of the European championship, the bronze prize-winner of the European championship.  - How long have you been playing Billiards?
 - About 11-12 years
 - Why did you choose the pool?
 - As a child, I was small and did not get to the "Russian" table and I was sent to the pool. Liked it, and continued to do.
  In the Billiards in addition to pool there are still Russian and snooker. Why do you like pool more?
- Russian is too boring for me. Rules in it are not as complex as in the pool and snooker. The technique is put at the forefront. Pool-a dynamic game in which you need to think. And in snooker, in my opinion, you need to think too much, while it is not as dynamic as the pool.
  Pool from snooker what is the difference?
 - Rules, size balls, pockets and cloth. In the pool balls slightly more. But in snooker more table, 12-foot. It's a 9-foot bullet. In snooker cloth is very fleecy, at impact it is necessary to consider where the pile is directed. In the pool cloth less fleecy, and in Russian Billiards in General practically without pile.
 - What do they play more in our billiard rooms?
 - Mainly in Russian Billiards, and pool (the so-called "American"). Snooker is almost nowhere there, the rules are quite different: a pyramid of 15 red balls is placed, and colored balls - each in its place on the field. Need to score first red, then color. Red is worth one point. And color have their "value".
- Where in the world what the sport more popular?
 - Russian. Snooker in the UK and China. Pool - in America, China and Europe.
 - But you can play all kinds?
 - I can play, but not as well as in the pool. In Russian Billiards my ceiling is the first place in the championship of Tatarstan. In snooker participated in the Cup of Russia among men and entered the top 16. And in the championship of Russia in team competitions my sister and I took the 3rd place.
 - So, you have a family dynasty?
  Something like that, in the Billiards my sister brought dad. My sister plays on an Amateur level. Dad took 3rd place in the Volga region snooker championship.
 - As far as I know, there are several disciplines in the pool, how do they differ?
 - There are four main disciplines in the pool. In "shoot" (or 14 + 1) you need to score points (one ball - one point). At the last tournament up to 50 points were played before the semi-final, the final-up to 70 points. In the discipline of pool-10 put 10 balls in the pyramid, and the balls are clogged "to order" (in a certain pocket), the serial numbers - from 1 to 10. In the discipline of pool-8 put a complete pyramid (15 balls), you need to choose a certain group of balls (striped or monochrome) and score their own. In the discipline of pool-9 put a pyramid of 9 balls and score them in order, but not on request.
 - How do you assess your performance this year at the Russian championship?
 - In 14 + 1 reached the semi-finals, which lost to Valeria Trushevskaya with a score of 75-74. Valeria became the champion in this discipline, in the final beating Natalia seroshtan (world and European champion). In 8 ball pool lost in the semi-finals of the Olga Mitrofanova (1:5). At that moment she was concentrated on the semi-final of the pool-10, which was immediately after the match, but lost to Natalia seroshtan with a score of 4:6. In the pool-9 in the quarterfinals beat seroshtan-6: 5.  In the semifinal-Trushevskaya (7:5). In the final defeated Anastasia Nechaeva (European and world champion) with a score of 7:3. I would like to note that it was very difficult to perform psychologically. And responsibility pressed: competitions were qualifying in the national team of Russia on the European championship which will take place in Italy in April. And besides, I was not ready to be included in the rules of selection changes.  I learned about them only when I came to the championship. Victory in a separate discipline does not guarantee a trip to the European championship.  To get to the national team, you need to score maximum points, which are assigned for prizes in the disciplines. Only two tours. All competitors are strong, all play at about the same level. I was unsettled that I foolishly lost the first semi-final, then did not go to the pool-8 and pool-10.  Pool 9 was my last chance. It turned out that in four disciplines – four different winners. Alas, I did not reach the desired result. But considering that last year I had only one third place-progress is. The thing is, I haven't performed at a high level in the last couple of years. First, because enrollment in the Academy: it was not until the sport. Then I had surgery on my arm. Now I'm restoring my form.
 - In Russian Billiards in professional competitions the player often wins the game without giving the opponent a chance to strike…
 - It happens a lot in a bullet. If the opponent successfully broke the pyramid, you can not come to the table at all for the whole game. At the European championship once played in 14 + 1 to 150 points. The man played badly (broke the pyramid), and lost 2:125. Plus in the pool in many tournaments, men and women play together. Women have a harder time. You will get, for example, on the world champion from America, it is unreal to beat him. Men are almost not mistaken.
 - Can you make good money in a pool?
 - Possible. There are good prizes and scholarships. But my priorities are a little different. Now-studies, in the future-family.
 - Where and how much do you train in Kazan?
 - In sports school "Spectrum" in Derbyshki. Before the championship I trained 5 days a week for 3-4 hours. Now less. First, session. Secondly, there are no tournaments in the near future. Unless the world champion in "the Chinese eight". A new kind of Billiards, which the Chinese have recently created and powerfully Finance and promote. The second year in it d to participate. Last year I performed poorly, this year I will try to improve the result.
 - Sports management - is it for a long time?
 - I like this direction. I think I will work in this area in the future. And it will be connected with Billiards.
