On November 24, the center of rowing sports of the Volga Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism hosted the IV Festival of the all-Russian sports complex "Ready for work and defense" among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan. The festival is one of the three projects of the Academy of sports, implemented with the support of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs. Teams of 22 higher educational institutions of the Republic took part in the Festival. They included students who passed the I (intra-University) stage of the competition. Students-volunteers of the Academy of sports, trained and received judicial categories in preparation for the festival, followed the implementation of standards for four types of tests. “Students - this is our future - says the head of the sector for the implementation of the complex of the all-Russian sports complex” Ready for work and defense " Elena Frolova. - The earlier a person begins to engage in sports, the earlier he / she joins a healthy lifestyle - the healthier our population becomes.
