The team of the Volga region Academy of sports became the winner of tennis competitions in the standings of the Spartakiad of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, held last weekend on the courts of the Kazan tennis Academy-one of the objects of the University.
 The competition was attended by students from six universities (Kazan national research technological University, Kazan state medical University, Kazan Federal University, Kazan state energy University, Kazan state University of architecture and construction, University of management TISBI), Kazan state Institute of culture, and of the two academies (Kazan state Academy of veterinary medicine and Volga region state Academy of physical culture, sports and tourism).
Color Academy defended in domestic courts, students of specialization "tennis" Ksenia Isaeva, Azalea Fazylova, Ekaterina Davletova, Andrei Popov, Ivan Pesoshin, Evgeniy Rubanko and team captain Ivan Ilchenko. The teams that scored the maximum number of points in their group reached the final. Volga Academy in the fight for first place with the CFU team, beat rivals with a total score: 3-0.
