Last weekend, the hockey team of the Volga region Academy held the first home matches of the championship of the Student hockey League (SHL) at the ice Palace "Zilant". Students of Tambov state University - the team "Power" arrived on a visit to HC "Academy sport"and paired duels. The hosts beat their opponents twice (2:1 and 6:5).
Our team held the first matches of the season in Nizhny Novgorod against the national team of Nizhny Novgorod state University. Losing in the first (1:2), in the second "academics" took revenge took revenge (4:2).
The first duel of "Academy of sports" and "Power" also came to the end with the score 2:1. And, as in Nizhny Novgorod, the hosts celebrated the victory. However, they had to recoup: the score in the match was opened by the guests. Response goal was scored by Dmitriy Makarov with gear Irek Galyaviev and Aleksey Dmitriev. And the winning goal on account of Ilyas Garifullin, who was assisted by Maksim Chegrincev.
The second match, as in Nizhny Novgorod turned out much more rich in abandoned washers. Field players have upset goalies 11 times. The double in this meeting was issued by Dmitriy Makarov, one goal was scored by Aydar Valishev, Ildar Mannapov, Aleksey Dmitriev and Ilya Kim.  
- It was impossible to expect any other matches of the principal rivals. The result in such fights is unpredictable. Fortunately, it is positive for us. Therefore, I am happy with the result. And here is game team-there is no. Is that the actions of individual players. But I must say that the team has changed a lot, so we still have a lot of work to do.
