In the Volga region Academy of sports and tourism held a training on the General competence of volunteers in the framework of the project "sports Express", the result of which should be the creation of a voluntary Association "Center of mobile pedagogical teams." The project is implemented by the Department of adaptive physical culture and life safety of the University with the support of the Federal Agency for youth Affairs.
During the training in the format of networking session, students of the Academy got to know each other better, got acquainted with the key competencies of the volunteer and conducted self-analysis.
"Students-volunteers had to get acquainted with the concepts of dialogue and understand how the format of group discussion affects the work of a volunteer, - says the lecturer, a master's student of the Volga Academy and the winner of the Russian national award" Student of the year-2017 "in the category" Volunteer of the year " Maria Ryazanova. - Under my leadership, students performed exercises related to the ability to communicate positively and enthusiastically with people. As part of the training, they needed to realize that they can be useful and understand that it is possible and necessary to ask for help."
At the end of the training, students-volunteers of the project presented a portrait of the ideal volunteer "sports Express" and told about what qualities and skills he needed.
