In the Volga region Academy for the first time in the history of the University held a meeting of the joint Council for the defense of theses for the degree of candidate of pedagogical Sciences in the specialty "Theory and methodology of physical education, sports training, health and adaptive physical culture."
The decision of the Higher attestation Commission (HAC) to open the dissertation Council on the basis of two sports academies – Volgograd and Volga – was adopted in July 2017. Since then, the joint dissovet twice met in Volgograd. And now the Volga Academy "debuted" as a hostess.
The historical mission went to applicants for degrees from Volgograd and Kazan. Tamara Septikina defended the work on "Perspective planning of loads on the lessons of physical culture according to the risk zones for health of children". Vladimir Afonshin presented to the court of the Diss Council the study " Training of young players in the technique of ball and stroke with the use of an interactive training complex." Protection was successful. After that, the members of the dissertation Council shared their impressions.
 
Victor Lukyanenko, Professor of the Department of theory and methodology of physical culture and sports of NCFU (Stavropol):
- From the visit to Kazan impressions are bright, enhanced by the effect of surprise. Of course, I knew that a lot of things had been built here before the Universiade, and I imagined that everything would be at a high level. But what I saw exceeded all my expectations. The appearance of the Academy, the dissertation hall, modern buildings leave a powerful impression. The main thing is that the content is not inferior to the external effect. In the Council gathered respected decent people, and all this is determined by the qualification of specialists, the level and quality of the evaluated works. What was happening on the defense, did not make me the most positive impression. The speeches of the members of the academic Council indicate their highest competence. The level presented for the protection of the work fully meets the requirements of the HAK!

- I worked as the rector of Volgograd Academy for 15 years. About 20 years - a member of the Diss and he has prepared more than a dozen candidates of science. I remember that in the 70s we often came to Kazan and helped the branch that opened here. Even then there was an exchange of scientific and pedagogical personnel, which in the country were few. Then your University moved to Naberezhnye Chelny, becoming independent. The result is a Grand building in Kazan created a great Academy. None of the universities made such an impression on me. You have an excellent base, a good set of students. It remains to wish the most rapid increase in the level of scientific and pedagogical staff. I am sure that you have access to the highest University level ahead of you. Together we have already prepared six candidates of science. Now I would like to see the protection of the first doctor! - Our Diss Council includes representatives of two universities, without parity. The members of the academic Council from Volgograd here for the first time and absolutely loved it. Organization of the meeting of academic Council would be the envy of even many foreign universities. I have something to compare. It was very comfortable for us to work. We visited the classes, got acquainted with the innovative forms of their conduct. Everything here is focused on productive work. The scientific works presented at the discussion of the dissent contain original, fresh ideas, interesting developments. I think teachers and scientists already have common interests and proposals for joint research projects.

- During the meeting, many told me that the student surpassed the teacher, referring to the infrastructure of the Volga Academy, which was once a branch of the Volgograd University. Friendly relations have been preserved since that time. Both defenses, which became the first for our University, were successful, aroused lively discussion and great interest. It is important that the applicants were opposed by well-known scientists in the industry. They gave their positive feedback.
Successful experience of cooperation within the framework of the dissovet allows us to count on the preparation of joint monographs, publication of scientific works in leading journals, increase the citation index. Today, without joint efforts, without the joint use of scientific potential of universities it is impossible to achieve serious results. In the era of globalization, not only universities but also countries unite to implement scientific projects. Science knows no boundaries!
