Rowing Academy in the student rowing league result is 100%
In early October in Moscow on the rowing channel "Krylatskoye", passed the IV final stage of The student rowing League. The main part of the competition program was the races of eights. And again, as in the previous stage, held in Sestroretsk, the winner of the main race was the crew of the Volga Academy of sports.
"Academicians" became the best for the third time in a row with the only difference that in Sestroretsk a month ago the distance was 6 kilometers, and in Moscow, students were racing on the classic 2 thousand meters.
Winning three of the four stages of the League allowed our team to take sixth place in the final ranking of universities. To rise above prevented the admission of the starting may stage. If we take into account that" academicians " won all the stages in which they participated, we can talk about a 100 percent result.  The winners of the race in Krylatskoye became Nikita Sazonov, Timur Engulatov, Amir Shigapov, Vladislav Karpik, Alexander Shtepenko, Alexander Maslov, Daniil Zolotar, Daniil Savchenko and Mavsai Abitov.
There were three changes in the line-up compared to the previous stage. Artem Shperova, broke his leg and missed because of illness fees Kirill Novoselov, was replaced in the team Nikita Sazonov and Timur Engulatov. No loss in quality, was able to produce and replace the helmsman's position (50% of the success of the team as the rowers) Fariza I. have successfully replaced Mavsai Sabitov.
As told, the coach of the team Vladimir Gogolin on Tuesday at a meeting with rowers-students of the rector of the Volga Academy Yusup Yakubov, to prepare for the start and to act in conditions of forced and natural for student groups rotation for "academics" habitually. Compared to the previous season, for example, the team has been updated by 80 percent. At the same time, many people switched to rowing from other sports: swimming, basketball. Especially Vladimir Alexandrovich noted the focus of their wards to win, which does not prevent them from studying well:
- We were preparing for the fourth stage when the study began, and the guys came to the training in the center of rowing sports before classes by 7 am.  I would like to note that all of them study well and receive scholarships.
According to the second coach of the team Mikhail Gorbunov, the success of the "academicians" did not go unnoticed. Debuting in the League in the previous championship, the team was the main opening ended in October of the summer season-2018.
At the meeting with the rector, the winners of the three stages of the League discussed plans for the future. Of course, the team will continue to perform in all student all-Russian competitions and will try to improve the current result, taking the final first place in the League ranking. For this purpose, as a minimum, you must participate in all stages of the tournament. Yusup Digansheevich set such a task, promising that the Academy will help rowers with the solution of organizational and financial issues. But within the Russian student rowing League "academicians", in fact, have already proved that they are leaders in the class.
Now they dream about participation in the largest international competitions. Unfortunately, rowing is not included in the program of the nearest summer Universiade in Naples. But as for the student world or European Championships, Vladimir Gogolin personally sets a goal to become the best in the world.

- We closely follow your performances. Won three stages. I want to thank you for the result. This is a lot of work and yours, and primarily coaching. Take guys with 1-2 courses from other sports, and for a short period of time to organize the training process. This is a serious result of the coaches. Won-good fellows! This is an important image success, the winners are known in Russia. Although for us other places, but the first can not be. Other universities do not have such bases, areas of training. We have rowing in a special position at the Academy. But on the other hand, everyone wants to win, everyone wants to be the first. And we can't stand still.
